Position Overview
The Part-Time Enrollment Assistant supports the Enrollment Managers and school front offices by providing responsive communication and administrative support throughout the student enrollment process. This role serves as a key point of contact for families by assisting with phone calls, responding to admissions and enrollment emails, and helping guide families through application and enrollment steps.
In addition to communications support, this position may provide occasional front-office assistance at school campuses as needed, ensuring families receive welcoming and timely service.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, comfortable communicating with families, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Family & Enrollment Communication
- Answer incoming phone calls related to enrollment, admissions, and general school inquiries.
- Monitor and respond to the admissions and enrollment email inbox to ensure families receive timely, accurate responses.
- Provide guidance to families regarding the application process, enrollment requirements, and next steps.
- Support follow-up communication with families regarding missing information, application status, and enrollment deadlines.
Administrative Support
- Support data entry and verification of applicant information when needed.
- Help prepare enrollment communications, documents, and outreach materials.
- Maintain accurate records of communications and applicant updates.
Front Office Support
- Provide occasional support to school front offices when additional assistance is needed and directed.
- Greet families and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Assist with directing families to appropriate staff or resources.
- Help maintain an organized and supportive front office environment.
Operational Support
- Assist the Enrollment Manager with special enrollment events, application periods, or high-volume communication periods.
- Help ensure enrollment communications are consistent, professional, and aligned with network expectations.
- Support coordination between school staff and the enrollment team when needed.
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to interact professionally and warmly with families, students, and staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred
- Previous experience working in a school office, enrollment office, or administrative support role.
- Familiarity with student information systems or enrollment platforms (such as PowerSchool, SchoolMint, or similar systems).
- Experience working with families in educational or community settings.

Schedule
This is a part-time position with a consistent weekly schedule:

This position works within a collaborative school network environment and interacts regularly with school staff, leadership, and families. The role may require occasional movement between school campuses depending on operational needs.
