JOB TITLE:
Hourly Pooled - Material Services Aide
JOB PURPOSE:
This part time position will aid the Surplus Store with wiping and refurbing computers, laptops, and other electronic items that come through the Property Disposal Request Process. This position will also aid with deliveries for furniture across campus and set the store with new inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Wipe PC's, hard drives, laptops to make them store ready or e-waste them.
Aid with the Surplus Store with inventory with the store and organize items.
Aid with delivery of furniture to on campus locations.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Aid the Surplus Store operations for closed days
Help recycle and sort E-waste
Aid with PDR collection
COMPETENCIES:
Knowledge of Windows, and Apple Products
Knowledge of refurbishing electronics
Able to lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
2-4 years of IT experience
1-2 years of customer experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
1-2 years of warehouse experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5 or more years of extensive knowledge of wiping and refurbing electronic items
Knowledge of power and hand tools
