JOB TITLE:
Facility Employee
DEPARTMENT INFORMATION:
Campus Recreation serves students, faculty/staff, and others associated with the University of Wyoming.
Job location:
Half Acre Gym
Pay rate or range:
$12/hour
JOB PURPOSE:
Provide a safe and clean environment for Half Acre patrons to recreate
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide excellent customer service
Oversee main workout area to ensure safety of all users
Enforce facility policies
Routinely clean equipment and various facility spaces
Assist in providing towel service
Assist with restocking cleaning supplies
Check out day-use equipment
Assist Recreation Staff with daily operational tasks
Effectively communicate with other Campus Recreation staff
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma (or GED), current UW student
Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Willingness to work in a team environment
Self-motivated
Energetic personality
Previous experience in the recreation industry
Previous experience in a customer service role
EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS APPLICABLE TO CAREERS:

Experience keeping up with varying tasks routine and non-routine
