Harborview Abuse & Trauma Centerhas an outstanding opportunity for afull-time (40 hours per week), day shift, PATIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST LEAD.The PSS Lead is responsible for leading the Patient Services Specialists team, directing, and providing support services, and coordinating all patient care services.

SCHEDULE
The typical schedule for this position is from 8:30am to 5pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assign work to staff
Evaluate daily workload, workflow, and adjusts staff assignments accordingly.
Maintain and edit templates for provider schedules in EPIC.
Respond to patients needs and concerns as appropriate.
Review and correct the work performed by others for compliance with established procedures.
Provide feedback to manager for employee performance evaluation, and training plans.
Identify and resolve problems or unusual situations; recommend changes as necessary.
Monitor and evaluate policies and procedures to suggest operational changes.
Track inventory and order office supplies and forms.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized waiting area to ensure the safety of each patient.
Perform the work of the Patient Services Specialist 1, 2 and 3.
Demonstrates an understanding and commitment to addressing systemic oppression and serving diverse populations.
Actively engages in agency-wide Diversity, Anti-Racism, Equity, and Inclusion practices and strives for racially equitable outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS
High School graduation or equivalent AND Three years of Patient Support Service experience OR equivalent education/experience.
DESIRED
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
Demonstrate ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage a heavy workload with frequent interruptions.
Advanced EPIC experience.
Intermediate Word and Excel experience
