What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Financial Analyst position at University of Vermont Health - UVM Medical Center?
This is a hybrid remote position (time in office and remote). The first month of employment will be onsite in South Burlington, VT to complete training. Additionally, there will be time spent in the office periodically for meetings.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Network Financial Analyst provides the primary financial management, related analysis and reporting for one or more Medical Group Network Department. As the key finance member of the Network Department team, the incumbent will interpret finance needs, make recommendations, and respond to those needs by facilitating appropriate resources in conjunction with UVMHN Medical Group Finance. The Network Financial Analyst will organize and present the financial basis for strategic and operational decision-making by their Network Department leadership team. This position requires solid analytical and presentation expertise paired with strong communication and relationship management skills.
EUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field required. An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities were acquired will be considered.
EXPERIENCE:
Three to five years of business or health care experience in health care financial management/analysis, accounting, and budgeting.
