Minimum Qualifications
Credentialed as a registered dietitian nutritionist (RD/ RDN ) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration ( CDR ) Earned Master degree in nutrition or nutrition-related field
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal degree in nutrition or nutrition-related field (PhD, DCN , DrPH) or other terminal degree (EdD) plus a degree in nutrition Current or recent (within the last five years) practice experience in acute and/or ambulatory care as dietitian Advanced practice credentials (eg. CNSC , CDCES , or CDR Board Certified Specialist credentials) Previous teaching experience at the post baccalaureate level. Demonstrated ongoing scholarly achievement and research expertise. Experience with ACEND accreditation under the Future Education Model Graduate Program standards Experience with online pedagogy. Effective interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven organizational skills. Positive attitude, proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion of the institutional mission and values. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
