Position Summary
The Student Office Assistant (Work-Study) assists and supports the Office of Development and University Relations by providing clerical duties. The Student Office Assistant will report to the Assistant Director of Research.
This position is funded by the Federal Work-Study program and is open to UIW students who are approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study Program.

Essential Functions
Perform general clerical duties which include:
- Filing;
- Typing;
- Answering the telephone;
- Photocopying;
- Faxing;
- Running errands for the office;
- Word processing;
- Data entry;
- Mail pick up/drop off;
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Typing (40 wpm);
- Computer/internet skills;
- Punctuality, good attendance;
- Appropriate office attire with a professional demeanor;
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet;
- Ability to learn new software programs pertaining to office objectives;
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures;
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
Required Education
Current UIW student approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study program.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an office setting.

Work Hours
Monday thru Friday 8am – 5pm
Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs to move file boxes.
