Responsibilities
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the project schedule and plan to ensure the timely completion of all tasks within the scope of work.
- Coordinate efforts among Principal Investigators (PIs), grant personnel, and graduate assistants (GAs) to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Organize and facilitate weekly meetings with internal teams and grantors to track progress and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Communicate project objectives clearly, monitor progress, and adjust resources as necessary to keep the project on track.
- Ensure that all reports and dashboards are up to date and compliant with grantor requirements.
- Develop and maintain written processes, policies, resource documents, and training materials, including best practices to ensure the continuity of work.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for any matters related to the scope of work.
- Coordinate in-person sessions with relevant parties to support the successful completion of project deliverables.
- Attend in-person sessions, when possible, to ensure successful content delivery.
- Deliver in-person sessions, when required, to meet the deliverables outlined in the scope of work.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in cybersecurity or a related field is required.
Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.
- Senate Bill 1310- The Florida Senate (https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2023/1310) is conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.
- SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements
- A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required, not to exceed:
- (a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- (b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree;
- (c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree;
- (d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
- (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
- Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
