Position Description
Advertised Job Summary
Under general supervision, assists in the coordination of business management activities related to operational support for the Center for Disability Resources. This includes duties relevant to programmatic support related to grant, procurement, and facility management. Provides direct administrative support to the CDR Executive Director. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations. This position is established in support of expanded research activities.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
- Typically holds a high school diploma or GED. Requires no prior work experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree and two years responsible administrative or clerical experience; or high school and six years responsible administrative or clerical experience; or equivalency.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing and the ability to work well with others.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365/Office (Word, Windows, Excel) required.
- Expected to conduct business both lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance and privacy policies, HIPAA, procedures and regulations.
