The University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for the position of Head Cheerleading Coach. Saint Francis is a Catholic, Franciscan university in the liberal arts tradition. The Head Cheerleading Coach will report to the Assistant Athletic Director and will have responsibility over the areas of instructing, recruiting, supervising, and retaining the cheerleading program, ensuring the university’s Catholic identity, Franciscan charism, and commitment to the liberal arts remain at the center of our educational mission and public identity. The Head Cheerleading Coach is responsible for assisting the Assistant Athletic Director in advancing the university’s efforts in implementing the new mission statement and strategic plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of the entire cheerleading program, including service to players, recruitment, and retention of student-athletes during football and basketball seasons, supervision of assistants, coordination of game and practice schedules, and external relations.
