University of Rochester Medicine is seeking an ABC-certified Prosthetist-Orthotist to join our established Orthotics & Prosthetics program in Rochester, NY. This 100% clinical role combines independent patient care with hands-on prosthetic and orthotic design, fabrication, fitting, and follow-up. What You'll Do
- Evaluate and plan treatment: Assess patient needs using medical history, physical examination, gait observation, measurement data, and patient input to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Design, fit, and align: Select appropriate materials and components, optimize prosthetic and orthotic alignment, and address device-performance issues to achieve the best possible function.
- Fabricate and ensure quality: Work with an onsite, full-scale fabrication lab and current computer-aided design technology while maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the process.
- Educate and collaborate: Help patients and families understand device use, benefits, and limitations while working collaboratively with the healthcare team and Resident Orthotist-Prosthetists.

Who We’re Looking For:
- Education: Completion of an accredited Bachelors, Master's or post-graduate certificate program in orthotics and prosthetics required.
