Be a part of UNI's award winning dining program as a Custodian I!

Under direct supervision, cleans and maintains kitchen and dining areas, bathrooms, and laundry rooms; launders uniforms, mops, and kitchen towels; inspects assigned areas for damage or maintenance needs; performs minor repairs; and keeps electrical equipment clean and in proper working condition.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Ability to read, write, and follow directions. Prior cleaning experience preferred.

Service Schedule: 9-months; schedule follows the academic year from August to May with opportunity to work additional hours during the summer.

Work Schedule: Thursday - Tuesday, 8:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Shift: Third Shift

Pay Grade: 3/4

Starting Hourly Rate: $19.06 ($17.51 base wage plus $1.55 shift differential)
