This position is located on-site in the Pavement Research Unit of the FDOT State Materials Office in Gainesville, FL.

- - Coordination of research staff supporting data collection and data analysis of pavement performance evaluation.
- - Providing technical leadership of data analysis activities.
- - Application of advanced analytical techniques to the data.
- - Development of database structures to enhance tracking and long-term utilization of the pavement materials and performance evaluation data.
- - Planning and tracking the progress of studies, as well as coordinating the annual performance data collection with other units (PCS and NDT).
- - Identification and solicitation of research ideas.
- - Contribute significantly to the efforts of designing the experiments, development of test plans, identifying proper sensor types, modifying test tools, analysis of the data, and reporting research findings.
- - Document analytical findings through clear summary reporting, final deliverables, and the continued enhancement of data visualization tools to support research outcomes and deployment.
- - Implementation and ongoing development of new technologies and infrastructure to improve pavement data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting, with a focus on continuous improvements in this area moving forward.
