Required Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Associates degree required; Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, education, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in credentialing, compliance, or healthcare/education administration.
Familiarity with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., The Joint Commission, ACEN, CCNE, or discipline-specific standards) preferred.
Skills And Competencies
This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check.
The holder of this position is designated as a Responsible Employee pursuant to their role under Title IX. Therefore, the incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the Universitys Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX Coordinator
The holder of this position is responsible for any NCAA and Atlantic Sun Conference bylaws and guidelines that a member of the UNF Athletic Compliance Department provides in addition to all UNF regulations. The individual must also assure that NCAA, Conference and UNF regulations are followed to the best of their knowledge and any violations thereof are reported to UNF Athletic Compliance.

- Collect, review, and verify professional licenses, certifications, immunizations, background checks, and other required documents.
- Ensure all credentials meet program, institutional, state, and accrediting body standards.
- Communicate with external agencies and boards for primary source verification when necessary.
- Recordkeeping and Data Management
- Maintain and update credentialing databases and secure electronic filing systems.
- Monitor expiration dates and send timely reminders for renewals.
- Generate reports to track compliance status for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and organize documentation for internal reviews, accreditation visits, and regulatory audits.
- Identify potential compliance gaps and work with leadership to resolve deficiencies.
- Ensure all credentialing processes adhere to confidentiality, HIPAA, and FERPA guidelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty, staff, and students regarding credentialing requirements.
- Provide clear instructions, guidance, and support throughout the credentialing process.
- Collaborate with academic, clinical, and administrative teams to ensure smooth onboarding and continued compliance.
