Purpose of Position
Transcriptionist position to assist forensic pathologists with autopsy reports.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Transcribe verbally dictated autopsy reports from pathologists.
Required Competencies
- Five years experience transcribing forensic autopsy reports including 2 of those years in a medical examiner or coroner setting.
- Ability to transcribe verbally dictated autopsy reports accurately and quickly.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Five years' experience transcribing forensic autopsy reports including 2 of those years in a medical examiner or coroner setting.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
