| Primary Purpose of Position | Performs technical communications work in support of public safety operations. Receives emergent and non emergent calls, monitors alarms, obtains and relays information, prioritizescalls/alarms and coordinates response procedures, dispatches appropriate public safety personnel, and maintains public safety communications logs and databases. |
