The Department of Mathematics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln invites applications for a three-year non-tenure track NSF-funded RTG postdoctoral faculty position, starting in August 2026. The NSF requires RTG postdocs to be U.S. Cititzens or permanent residents. Responsibilities include research, teaching two courses per academic year, and running a year-long research seminar, with the help of a research mentor, during the second year in the position.

Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Mathematics or a closely related field or anticipated degree by August 2026.
- Per NSF requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
- Documented research activity and interests in commutative algebra, algebraic geometry, or related fields.
- Documented record of success in classroom instruction at the college level.
