Child Development Lab in the College of Education and Human Development
Serve as an assistant to the lead teacher in a university-based early childhood program. Assistant teachers are primarily responsible for mentoring student teachers, supervising co-teachers, and coordinating classroom activities, in addition to caring for and educating preschool children. The Child Development Teacher is expected to collaborate with the teaching team, other faculty, and practicum students to plan and execute a program that is developmentally sound and sensitive to the range of individual differences reflected in our student, staff, and family populations.
8 hour shift (Monday-Friday)
An Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and some experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
License/Certification: CPR Certification (Preferred) and Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Grade: GGS-005
