What are the responsibilities and job description for the Postdoctoral Fellow position at University of Maryland?
I am looking for a highly-motivated postdoctoral fellow who has a strong interest in infectious disease (experience preferred but not required) and a track record in cell biology (macrophages preferred) using immunofluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, and western blot techniques.
The project will focus on deciphering phagosomal membrane repair pathways during Mycobacterium tuberculosis Infection using high-throughput single-cell and single-phagosome analysis. It continues our interest in using live cell imaging to investigate the interaction of Mtb with host macrophages (Augenstreich...Briken, PLOS Pathogens 2025).
The position is open now and for an initial 2-year period. The remuneration will be according to experience, following the NIH postdoc payscale.
