What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor of Risk Management and Insurance position at University of Louisiana Monroe?
The College is seeking an Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor of Risk Management and Insurance. Candidates must be able to contribute to the BBA in Risk Management and Insurance program and should have broad competence in Risk Management and Insurance, with the ability to teach a variety of courses. Candidates who bring experience, expertise, and/or specialization in risk management and/or insurance are most preferred. Experience in online teaching is beneficial as the program offers a number of its courses in an online format. However, effective teaching skill must be demonstrated and is expected in both the online and face-to-face classes. Candidates must satisfy scholarly academic faculty qualification status. An Endowed Chair is available for those who meet the requirements.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses during the fall and spring semesters.
- Mentor undergraduate students.
- Pursue a program of scholarly research and publication.
- Advise students and maintain records of student progress.
- Actively participate in recruitment and retention for the programs.
- Contribute to the mission of the program and college.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Salary : $50,000
