Job Description Summary
The position entails full time management and coordination of the program for AI & Research in Cardiovascular Medicine. This includes research activities between the different team members, including multiple medical students and KUMC staff members, keeping a tally of day-to-day tasks, keeping research meeting minutes, tracking progress on assignments to different team members, moving the research projects to completion, writing abstracts/manuscripts, manuscript submission process including communicating with journals and timely resubmissions, helping prepare grant applications and applying for extramural funding.

Work Experience: Experience using Biostatistical software.

- Delegate and coordinate assignments to team members, including medical students and other KUMC staff members.
- Keep research meeting minutes.
- Manage and track daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly task lists.
- Write abstracts/manuscripts.
- Process manuscript submissions, including communicating with journals and timely resubmissions.
- Help prepare grant applications.
- Request and obtain secure access to protected health information.
- Comply and maintain data security per KUMC/TUKHS policies and approvals.
Required Qualifications
Work Experience:
- 4 years of relevant work experience. Relevant education may substitute on a year for year basis.
- Experience writing medical journals.
- Experience working with grant applications.
