Requirements/Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
- At least 3 years in the custodial field. Requires intermediate knowledge of cleaning terms and safety procedures related to hazardous chemicals.
- High School Diploma/GED
- The Supervisor will be responsible for training and overseeing of the daily custodian operations in the academic buildings and dorms.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of 1st & 3rd shift Custodians.
- Regular communication with the manager is required, including at least two (2) daily check-ins to review progress, address challenges, communicate needs or concerns, or confirm next steps for tasks or projects.
- Provide guidance, training and mentorship to employees and address employee issues.
- Inspect, evaluate and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure all employees are adhering to company policies, industry regulations and safety guidelines.
- Participate in leadership and staff meetings to communicate objectives and share updates.
- Approve attendance and Web Time Entry.
- Assign relief custodians to fill in for absentee workers.
- Follow the guidance and direction of the Manager.
- Other duties, including special projects, as required or assigned.
