What are the responsibilities and job description for the Processor position at University of Illinois Community Credit Union?
The Processor will perform tasks necessary to maintain the accounts of credit union members, complete all documentation and processing requested for approved Indirect applications, and provide resources and support to internal and external members. The Processor must be focused on accuracy and efficiency. This position must assist in fulfilling the mission of the credit union and act on our value proposition in order to build loyalty with our membership.
As a member of the support team of our organization the Processor will:

- Identify ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
- Offer help and suggestions that will build internal and external loyalty.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Consistently provide outstanding service focusing on member service and member loyalty skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely scanning/filing systems of all documents.
- Post all necessary GL entries, share draft and ACH exceptions while ensuring accurate processing.
- Complete wire transfers.
- Assist internal and external members with questions and resolve problems that are within their authority to resolve.
- Process daily ACH setup and Skip-A-Pay requests.
- Process approved Indirect loans and make disbursements.
- Provide backup to Indirect Liaison.
- Review Remote Deposit exception items for fraud and compliance.
- Own member issues and elevate issues as necessary for resolution.
Qualifications:
Experience
One to three years of similar or related experience.
Education
A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
