Position Summary
Assist in laboratory tests based on research projects under faculty supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform experimental tests and assays. Record and analyze results in order to provide conclusive data for research projects. Work with survey data from smokers.
- Maintain materials, methods and records of experimental procedures, including evaluations of data accumulated.
- Compile and summarize results for reports, manuscripts, grants and articles for publication.
- Research literature in order to maintain a current knowledge of laboratory research methods and terminology.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of assigned laboratory.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
