Coordinates and provides senior-level administrative support to an ongoing program at the University.
- Coordinates program to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives.
- Participates in planning and develops methods for program implementation and administration, coordinates program activities and processes.
- Reviews program records and reports of activities.
- Recommends modifications to methods or procedures as required.
- Prepares recurring and ad hoc program reports for management use.
- Assists in preparing reports, proposals, manuals, and other documentation as required for the program.
- Participates in budget planning and is responsible for controlling expenditures in accordance with budget allocations for the program.
- Conducts formal training or gives instruction regarding program policies and procedures. 9. Interacts with faculty, staff and students to promote the goals and objectives of the program.
- Develops and maintains database on research studies, policy issues, etc.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
Additional Responsibilities
- Answers inbound phone and email inquiries to prospective students and stakeholders.
- Assists with campus visit events, campus tours, and special on-campus recruiting activities.
- Maintains student files updated throughout their admission process and makes changes to records as necessary.
- Establishes and maintains contact with the business, educational, and general community sectors to discuss and outline proper planning and procedure as they relate to recruitment and retention.
- Recruits high school and community college students on and off-campus.
- Conducts recruitment and campus visit presentations at special events.
- Higher Education experience, especially in student recruitment and campus visits.
- Service leadership skills including mutual respect, active listening, and responsiveness.
- Must be a multi-tasker, extremely organized, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to clearly interpret and implement policies and procedures.
- Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external constituents.
- Public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
