The department will be hiring for (2) positions.
Analyzes, develops and modifies enterprise application programs and ad-hoc programs, under moderate supervision. Pursuant to the State of Texas Executive Order No. GA-48, this position researches, works on, or has access to critical infrastructure and requires the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the University infrastructure. This position requires personnel be routinely reviewed to determine whether or not criminal history or continuous connections for the government or political apparatus of a foreign adversary might prevent the employee from being able to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure.

- Codes, tests, debugs, modifies and troubleshoots enterprise application systems and ad-hoc programs in accordance with standards.
- Analyzes complex enterprise application processes and systems and their underlying data structures; identifies and resolves problems.
- Installs, tests and troubleshoots interfaces and integration supporting vendor applications.
- Assists users with understanding, testing and using enterprise applications and programs. Defines, conducts and monitors system test procedures.
- Documents data structures, run streams, applications, programs and other objects according to generally accepted practices.
- Uses non-core technologies to design, code, test, debug, modify and troubleshoot enterprise applications.
- Learns new technologies and techniques using enterprise development tools.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
No Experience Is Required.
Additional Posting Information:
- Minimum 2 years of development and maintenance experience in data warehouse/business intelligence.
- Experience of development and maintenance in one or multiple of these areas: (Oracle, Tableau, Hyperion, or equivalent.)
- Be able to use Linux, Windows based environments.
