Department: Social Sciences Salary: $12.00 per hour
Description:
The Social Sciences Department is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented student assistant to support the daily administrative operations of the department.
Job Duties:
- Performs administrative duties such as answering phones, faxing, scanning, and copying documents
- Greets and directs visitors to appropriate UHD personnel or offices
- Assists faculty and staff members as needed
- Takes messages for office personnel
- Refers callers to other departments as needed
- Maintains the filing system
- Receives and distribute mail
- Maintains office supplies for the department
- Runs errands within the university
- Assists with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be a current UHD student
- Must have been awarded Federal Work-Study from the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships
- Must be available to work up to 19.5 hours per week
- Available to work Monday-Friday
