What You'll Do
As the Laboratory Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the laboratory experience. You will:
- Coordinate laboratory preparations and oversee daily lab operations.
- Provide technical and instructional support to faculty, staff, and students.
- Partner with Environmental Health & Safety personnel to implement and maintain safety procedures in compliance with federal and state guidelines.
- Supervise, train, and support student workers and part-time laboratory personnel.
- Procure, maintain, and inventory laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Manage laboratory budgets and ensure resources are utilized effectively.
- Research, develop, and support laboratory experiments as approved.
- Assist faculty and research personnel in conserving resources and supporting research initiatives.
- Provide specialized classroom instruction when needed.
- Ensure laboratory facilities remain safe, organized, and operational.

- The ability to collaborate with diverse groups of students, faculty, researchers, and staff.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three (3) years of related experience; or
- Associate's degree in an Engineering discipline with ten (10) years of related experience.
