The main responsibilities will include assistance in conducting laboratory experiments and analysis of environmental samples, including assisting with the operation and maintenance of lab equipment (i.e.,ICP-MS, XRD, XRF, etc.). The incumbent will ensure compliance with all QA/QC and health and safety procedures and assist in the general day-to-day running of the laboratory. Other duties may include assistance in the preparation of research manuscripts and reports for funding institutions. The job may involve handling and analysis of radionuclides. Additional job specific training will be provided as appropriate. May assist in supervising graduate students and more junior lab personnel
