The Center for Technology Workforce Innovation (CTWI) welcomes applications for the Senior Program Engagement Specialist! This role is primarily responsible for planning and implementation of programs related to the Aspirations in Computing program. The Senior Program Engagement Specialist develops program strategies, goals, and processes for Aspirations in Computing. The Senior Program Engagement Specialist role is highly collaborative and will work closely with the CTWI Director of Programs, CTWI staff and team members, volunteers, academic and industry partners, participants, parents and others.

It spans both university staffing, financial and legal procedures, and in addition, receives funding from a non-profit 501(c)(3), to implement financial, legal, and governance procedures on its behalf.

Student Engagement
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Lead the execution of National and Regional level awards under the strategic direction of the program director.
- Be responsible for the program database, website, tracking systems, and records.
- Develop and deliver on methods to generate student interest and participation in award programs.
- Create and implement program policies and processes for recruitment and judging of award applications.
- Organize and facilitate award distribution and event planning.
- Contribute to self-service resources that allow regional partners to lead local outreach and distribution.
- Educate volunteers on fundraising techniques.
- Contribute to systems for volunteer empowerment including webinars, email announcements, and office hours.
- Provide training and ongoing support to volunteer teams to ensure consistency across regions.
- Provide excellent customer service, troubleshoot, and respond to all user requests and questions via email, ticketing system, or phone.
- Develop knowledge guides to facilitate self-service assistance.
- Manage the technical aspects of the award portal to ensure a smooth experience for applicants and reviewers.
- Ensure data tracking and reporting.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Stay apprised and current on relevant University and State of Colorado policies and procedures.
- Participate in professional development activities and serve on unit, college or campus committees as applicable.
- Standard business hours with flexibility. This position may be eligible for a hybrid work modality, consistent with the College of Engineering and Applied Science Hybrid Work Policy.
- Candidates should have a willingness and ability to travel.

What We Require
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or a combination of education and experience may substitute.
- Three years of program and/or program management experience, preferably in non-profit.
- Prior experience in CTWI.
- Project management and project tracking experience.
- Ability to coordinate under pressure of set timelines.
- Advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software programs.
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team, excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong professional interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written). Ability to understand dynamic organizations.
- Ability to work independently, within a strong team environment. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, often under time pressures. Ability to accurately prioritize workflow.
- Five years of program management experience
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Collaboration skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology platforms and tools.
- Experience with volunteer-run organizations.
- Ability to multi-task, change priorities when necessary, and follow through with all assignments.
- Ability to work with and coordinate groups of people.
