The University of Cincinnati Foundation seeks talented, collaborative and mission-focused individuals to join our advancement team in driving philanthropic support for the University of Cincinnati and UC Health. All offers of full-time employment are contingent upon passing a criminal background check and drug test. Positions requiring a degree are also contingent upon education verification.
Structure
The University of Cincinnati Foundation (UCF) is responsible for fundraising activities benefiting the University of Cincinnati and UC Health. UC Foundation Interns are part-time, hourly paid (non-exempt) student positions employed by the University of Cincinnati Foundation (UCF) and are expected to work 15-20 hours per week. Applicants are required to be current University of Cincinnati students.
UC Foundation Interns are not academic internships nor do they provide credit toward a degree.
Requirements
This position is considered to have light work. Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. This position requires the operation of a motor vehicle. This position also requires:

Requirements
- Current UC Main Campus student with an above average grade point
- Interest in exploring a non-profit career
- Must be available for part-time intern position – 15-20 hours per week
- Strong oral and written communication
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, insatiable curiosity, attention to detail, and team-oriented posture, and ability to meet deadlines are required
- A demonstrated ability to solve problems, analyze and synthesize information, manage several projects simultaneously, a self-starter, and resourcefulness are strongly preferred.
- Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to search various databases, utilize internet research databases and relationship management software are preferred.
