UChicago Career Advancement’s programs build on the world-class UChicago liberal arts foundation to give students a competitive edge in their professional development and recruiting in a wide range of roles. As a new role funded by philanthropy, this role will primarily support students who have an interest in finance, business, and other career pathways.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end‑to‑end programs, workshops, and career events that prepare students for competitive internships and full‑time roles.
- Serve as a proactive adviser to 1st–4th year students, offering targeted coaching grounded in industry insights.
- Build and expand relationships with employers, alumni, and partners across the public and private sectors.
- Lead outreach to source opportunities—from job shadowing and site visits to internships and full‑time roles and match students with opportunities through proactive student portfolio management.
- Coordinate communications, program logistics, and stakeholder engagement to deliver a seamless student experience.
- Track student progress and outcomes using Salesforce and leverage data to inform program strategy.
- Support career treks, Career Exploration Week, and other high‑impact experiential learning initiatives.
