JOB SUMMARY
The Senior IR Technologist advanced responsibilities can include, yet are not limited to the following: ⯠Â

Demonstrate competency actively and participate in the lead/coordinator role. ⯠Â
- Active participation in an annual performance improvement project or active participation in IRÂ
-
Quality Assurance/Radiation Safety meetings. ⯠Â

Demonstrate competency and the ability to instruct one or more of the advanced procedures. ⯠Â
Qualifications
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum 3-6⯠years⯠of IR experience.⯠- Previous experience in healthcare⯠environment required (minimum 3-5 years).⯠- Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.⯠- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays. Must be willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations - Must be willing to learn and train in Neuro-IR and Body-IR - Must be willing to circulate and fill scrubbing roles during procedures as necessary - Ability to self direct and organize a varied workload REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS - ARRT Licensureâ¯â¯ - CRT Licensure⯠- BLS (CPR) Certification⯠- VIR Certification within 1 year of hire PREFERRED QUALIFICATION - Prefer recent work experience in an acute care setting⯠- Prefer⯠VIR⯠Certification⯠or obtained⯠within 1 year of hireâ¯
