Job Description
Under the direction of the Director of Audiology, the Audiologist is responsible for providing a full array of clinical audiology services, and for representing the audiology division in a professional and competent fashion. This applies to both adult and pediatric Audiologist functions in the clinical settings at all UCSF Health sites (Mt. Zion, Mission Bay, Parnassus, joint UCSF health partnerships, Satellite Clinics, or with UCSF Faculty at other off-site clinic sites, et al). Clinical Care - 85%Performs specialized audiological procedures (including threshold evaluation, speech audiometry, central auditory testing, immittance testing, otoacoustic emissions, videonystagmography, rotational chair assessment, and evoked potential audiometry) to evaluate and define hearing problems in adult and pediatric patients.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications : AuD or PhD in Audiology. For UCSF incumbents only, an equivalent combination of education (i.e., Masterâs degree) and experience prior to implementation of AuD. Preferred Qualifications : Current California Dispensing Audiologist License License / Certification : Yes License/Certification : Current California Audiologist license or a Provisional Audiologist license and full licensure within three (3) months of hire.
