Job DescriptionUnder the direction of the Patient Care Manager, the Pediatric/Neonatal Transport Nurse is responsible and accountable for providing optimal patient care and management in the transport environment during inter-facility transport of both stable and critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients. Â
Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 2 yearsâ RN experience in Critical Care Patient Transport - Current California Registered Nurse License - Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California - Active American Heart Association CPR Certification - Active American Heart Association PALS Certification - Active American Heart Association NRP Certification (preferred on hire or within 3 months) - STABLE certification within six months of hire date - The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations Preferred: - Nursing experience in a Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, Pediatric Cardiac ICU or Pediatric Emergency Department - Current specialty certification in one or more of the following: CFRN, CCRN, CTRN, RNC-NIC, C-NPT, CPEN. - ACLS About UCSF The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is a leading university dedicated to promoting health worldwide through advanced biomedical research, graduate-level education in the life sciences and health professions, and excellence in patient care.
