Supply Technician-Facilities

JOB SUMMMARY:
The Supply Technician plays a pivotal role in efficiently managing inventory, coordinating the procurement process, and maintaining a smooth workflow within the supply chain. This position involves overseeing inventory levels, coordinating with vendors, inspecting shipments, and ensuring timely distribution of supplies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS TO INCLUDE:
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, Day Shift only (subject to change to meet the needs of the University).
High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of experience required. Experience in inventory management systems preferred.
MVR:
Driving record should meet University underwriting guidelines to drive vehicle in performance of University business. Current underwriting guidelines include possession a valid driver’s license, issued in the United States; at least 21 years of age; at least three years of driving experience; maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
PERSONAL:
Possess the necessary physical requirements, with or without the aid of mechanical devices, to safely perform the duties and responsibilities of this position to include:

- Oversees inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
- Inspects incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Manages the organization and storage of supplies within the warehouse.
- Collaborates with various departments to understand supply needs and anticipate demands.
- Work closely with various departments to understand supply needs and address concerns.
- Utilizes inventory management systems to track stock levels and facilitate order processing.
- Conducts regular audits to ensure accuracy in inventory records.
- Ensures timely distribution of supplies to internal departments.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Ability to manage supply inventory
- Knowledge and experience in supply chain processes, procedures and best practices.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

- Lifting and carrying a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
- Climbing stairs
- Performing tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling and extensive walking significant distances between and within buildings on campus.
- Working in confined spaces.
- Working within extreme temperature ranges.
