To clean all areas of responsibility in patient/non-patient areas and inside/outside the facility. Removes trash and linen, polices grounds, moves furnishings, sets up conference rooms and performs required cleaning functions related to transferring/discharging patients. Position requires:
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
- Climbing stairs.
- Performing tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling and walking significant distances between within/and outside building.
- Working in confined spaces.
- Working within extreme temperature ranges.
- Wearing gloves and other PPE as required to perform job duties.
- Completes cleaning of assigned area within allotted time and in a thorough manner.
- Sanitizes entire patient/guest room upon discharge or transfer.
- Polices grounds, removes trash, moves furnishing/equipment as required. Sets up rooms for functions
- Completes appropriate paperwork to report maintenance problems or needed repairs.
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Cleaning floors to include striping and waxing
- Performs other duties as assigned.
