Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to join our team in Milan, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential in-home support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with basic health monitoring.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and care plans.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or caregiving is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to client needs.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed.
