Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to clients in Saline, MI. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring client comfort, and promoting independence in a safe and respectful manner. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely using proper techniques.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and services provided.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient.
• Must be able to pass background checks and any required screenings.
• Valid driver’s license/ Id card and reliable transportation to be able to make it to the client home.
