In this role, you will provide essential support and care to residents in an assisted living environment, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being on a daily basis.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor residents’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment within the assisted living building.
- Assist with medication reminders and follow prescribed care plans.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Previous experience in assisted living care or related caregiving is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and assisting residents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check.
