Your responsibilities will include personal care, companionship, and ensuring that each client receives the highest level of support tailored to their unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and document patient observations to report any changes in health or behavior.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers; assist in lifting when necessary.
- Support individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care plans that meet their specific needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care, hospice care, or home health is required.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper techniques.
- Excellent observation skills to monitor patient conditions effectively.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others and improve their quality of life.
- Flexibility in working hours as caregiving may require availability on weekends or evenings.
