What You’ll Do
- Respond to mental health crises with compassion and professionalism.
- Conduct emergency assessments and connect clients with the right care and community resources.
- Provide short-term case management and crisis support for shelter residents when needed.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and community partners to develop effective care plans.
- Advocate for clients facing complex challenges such as homelessness, trauma, or mental illness.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold compliance standards.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active Missouri license (LPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist).
- 5–7 years of experience in mental health or social services.
- Strong understanding of psychiatric terminology and community-based resources.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and trauma-informed care.
