Automotive Finance Manager
University Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Finance Manager (F&I) to join our team. We're looking for a motivated professional who is passionate about helping customers, building value, and delivering an exceptional buying experience from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining strong customer relationships while maximizing dealership profitability and ensuring full compliance with all lender and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Present financing and protection products in a professional, customer-focused manner.
- Secure competitive financing through established lender relationships.
- Prepare, review, and finalize all finance documentation accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and lender regulations.
- Present vehicle service contracts, GAP, warranties, and other protection products while building value for every customer.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth and efficient purchase process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and lending institutions.
- Meet or exceed finance performance goals while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and dealership policies, including lender and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current on lender programs, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive F&I or Automotive Finance Manager experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of automotive finance, lender programs, and compliance regulations.
- Proven success in finance production, product sales, and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented dealership environment.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
