UB Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships (BEP) is seeking a Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing Communications to lead the planning, execution and evaluation of integrated communications strategies that advance the mission of the BEP team within the Office of Research, Innovation and Economic Development. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Marketing, Communications & Digital Operations, this position oversees integrated communications, public relations and content initiatives designed to enhance the visibility, reputation and impact of BEP’s programs and partnerships. The Senior Manager applies a data-informed and audience-centered approach to develop and deliver high-quality, multi-channel communications that promote industry–academia collaboration, tech commercialization, startups, entrepreneurship, incubation and workforce development.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement integrated content and messaging strategies across key initiatives and campaigns, translating goals into clear communication plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage campaign workplans to keep projects on schedule, on brand, and within scope, proactively resolving issues and escalating risks as needed.
- Lead day-to-day content development for integrated campaigns and partner with creatives and vendors to produce high-quality materials, manage project-level budgets, and coordinate promotional activities.
- Oversee daily social media planning, posting, and monitoring to strengthen engagement and advocacy, and provide recommendations based on performance metrics.
- Coordinate news release distribution, talking points, and background materials for PR initiatives, collaborating with writers, communications teams, and program leads on story development.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations to guide future amplification and outreach.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with program leaders, academic units, communications partners, and external collaborators to support shared priorities.
