The Division of Nephrology within the Department of Medicine at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (JSMBS), SUNY at University at Buffalo (UB) invites applications for full-time Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor appointments. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Faculty will be primarily based at ambulatory practice sites and major affiliated teaching hospitals in the Buffalo region.

Position Responsibilities

- Inpatient and outpatient nephrology practice, including consultative services and longitudinal patient care
- Evaluation, management, and follow-up of patients with a full spectrum of renal diseases
- Teaching and mentoring of internal medicine residents, nephrology fellows, and medical students in both clinical and educational settings
- Supervision of nephrology fellows during inpatient consults and outpatient clinics
- Participation in academic activities, including divisional conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Engagement in clinical and/or translational research is encouraged, with support for scholarly productivity aligned with institutional resources
- Contribution to a collegial, team-based academic practice that values professionalism, communication, and excellence in patient-centered care
