A Day in the Life
As a Diesel Mechanic at Universal Truck Service, you will work on a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks and equipment in a modern, well-lit shop with updated technology. One day you are diagnosing a complex electrical issue, the next you are performing brake and suspension repairs or working through a transmission job. You will document your work alongside experienced techs and have access to ongoing OEM training from day one. Diesel Technicians at Universal Truck Service grow - technically and professionally.
What You'll Do
- Perform PM services, brake and ABS repairs, suspension and drivetrain work
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems - chassis and engine
- Perform transmission and driveline repairs
- Accurately document all work performed
- Maintain a clean, safe work area at all times
Schedule
Full-time. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift openings available. 2nd and 3rd shift include a $2/hr shift differential. 3rd shift runs 4/10s.
What You Bring
- 2 years of experience as a Diesel Technician or Diesel Mechanic
- Own tools and toolbox
- Valid driver's license
- Solid work ethic, attention to detail, and basic computer skills
- High school diploma required; technical degree or DOT certification a plus

- $1000- $1,500 performance bonus every 90 days(80% of our Diesel Mechanics hit it)
