They distributes appropriate make-up to performers as needed, applies make-up where operation requires and assists with make-up lessons for performers.

Responsibilities
- Execute all in house construction and repair of wigs as assigned for venues, areas and/or projects.
- Cut, style, dye, clean, fit and maintain wigs.
- Distribute appropriate make-up to performers as needed. Assist with make-up lessons/training for performers. Apply make-up where operation requires.
- Inform Lead or Casual Lead when materials and supplies need replenishing.
- Conduct final looks for costume appearance and communicate notes or observations to Lead, Casual Lead, or management.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and organization of venue/area.
- May be required to cross function as Dresser where operational need requires and where training/skill level warrant.
- Monitor compliance of Company and department policies and procedures and directly partner with Costuming management to address any issues or concerns.
- Coordinate and prioritize projects/tasks with Costumers and management and ensure consistency of process with Casual Lead(s).
- Lead team in the assigned venue/area, which may include assigning tasks and monitoring progress of work to ensure quality and timely completion.
- Monitor equipment and initiate repair/replacement process. Monitor process to ensure timely completion.
- Provide overall costuming support for the venue/area or project per established procedures to meet or exceed quality expectations and guest service standards.
- Train (or assist with training) team members as appropriate and necessary, which may include development and implementation of training/testing materials.
- Reports & Documentation - Preparation, Maintenance and/or Distribution
- Review performer schedule and track wig usage.
- Monitor and/or track inventory of supplies and materials and ensure that stock is replenished when needed, with management’s approval.
- Create and/or update SOP(s) as needed.
- Communicate information, direction and/or task completion to Casual Lead(s)
- May be required to provide end of day report/summary to management
- Communication
- Responsible for communicating concerns and/or issues in a timely, professional and productive manner.
- Lead and/or participate in daily meetings; Participate in Show Coms meetings or other venue meetings.
- Communicate performance and behavior standards and expectations; provide feedback for recognition and performance improvement. Ensure that performance and behavior feedback is communicated back to management. Duties described here are not exclusive and are performed by management as well. - Establish wig and make-up looks and plots, subject to the direction and authorization of the Company.
- Must be 18 or older
- Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school in Theater/Costume or Fashion
- Previous experience in theatre, film, television, theme park (costume department or other
Job Demands
- Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs with assistance
- Must be available to work at least 4 days per week throughout the peak seasons to include a rotation of mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- $29 per hour
