Pay Rate: $20 per hour (based on experience)
Universal Property Management is adding a Maintenance Technician/Handy Person to its growing team! As one of the only area Property Management Groups to offer a full time, in-house maintenance department, this position helps define the distinct service difference between UPM and its competitors.

Work Environment: In this position, you will be traveling to different property locations within the Lakes Region and Conway areas to perform a variety of repair and maintenance services for our residents and owners- including paint, drywall, lock changes, light plumbing and electrical, Move In/Move Out repairs, etc. When not providing services, you will be working remotely to complete any work orders, entering expenses, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Performing scheduled repairs and preventative property maintenance (drywall work, replacing windows, door installs, etc.)
- Light plumbing and electrical work
- Addressing work orders in a timely manner
- Conducting unit/building inspections to proactively keep properties in order
- Filling out and completing working orders properly utilizing Property Management software
- Unit turns for re-rent
- Communicating effectively with Maintenance Supervisor and Tenants
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in residential maintenance.
- Work vehicle and gas card provided after 12 months (personal vehicle required for first 12 months, mileage reimbursement provided)
- Candidate must provide own basic tools
- Compensation based on experience starting at $20.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime and on-call (Monday-Sunday)

Work schedule: Monday to Friday 8-4pm
On call rotation: Every 4-6 weeks (compensated)

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
