Universal Plumbing & Sewer is seeking an organized, dependable, and customer-focused professional to serve as a central point of coordination between our customers and field technicians. Prior dispatching experience is beneficial but not required; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
- Answer customer calls and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Schedule plumbing service appointments and manage the daily service calendar
- Coordinate technicians throughout the day to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Monitor and manage the dispatch board throughout the day, making proactive scheduling adjustments to keep operations running smoothly.
- Review the dispatch board before the end of each day to ensure after-hours coverage, emergency calls, and the following day's schedule are organized and prepared.
- Balance technician workloads appropriately to keep the team productive without overloading them
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding arrival times and job status updates
- Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Learn and utilize industry-leading dispatch software
- Maintain strong working relationships with the field team
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in company systems and processes
