Psych Nurse Practioner Opportunity (full-time)

Treatment programs at Laurel Heights Hospital are structured for youth ages 6-17 who are dealing with general psychiatric difficulties and trauma. We also offer specialty mental healthprograms for children with co-occurring neurodevelopmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders

Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing with certification as a Nurse Practitioner/Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with one of the accredited National Certification Organizations (ANCC, AANP).
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia; Certification with a National Certification Board
- Five (5) years of experience in the area of psychiatric/chemical dependency nursing preferred.
- Unencumbered State of GA Licensed NP, expertise, or interest, in treating patients with mental illness and addictive disorders preferred.
- Knowledge and mastery of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment.
